Geometry is widely used in several different art forms. Many of them are discussed elsewhere in this portfolio, but just to reiterate, geometry was strongly relied upon by Escher during his career. Two of the art forms that use it the most are probably tessellations and perspective drawings. Various artists across the board use geometry to achieve their desired projects. Geometry and art are tightly linked. A study conducted by the University of Minnesota highlights the four properties where geometry is prevalent in art:
